All items accepted at our depots must be kept separate.

Corrugated Cardboard Remove all plastic, Styrofoam or other packing materials. Cardboard must be flattened.

Tin Cans (rinse thoroughly), aluminum pie plates, aluminum foil and cans. No need to remove lids or labels, no need to flatten.

Glass bottles & jars, remove food residue, no Corning Ware, Pyrex or sheet glass.

Motor oil – please note that it must be poured into non-breakable gallon containers with tight fitting screw caps. (Plastic gallon bleach or milk jugs work best).

Used Cooking Oil – (Available at our Grants Pass Recycle Depot Only) please note that it must be poured into non-breakable gallon containers with tight fitting screw caps. (Plastic gallon bleach or milk jugs work best).

Non Accepted Items:

No Plastic bags – often people like to put their recycling in plastic bags to help them carry or manage it better. However, the plastic bag are NOT accepted any in of our containers.

No Styrofoam – often people will bring the Styrofoam with their cardboard. This should be taken to the transfer station or put in your household trash.

Other Non-Accepted Items:

Food Plastic or Wood Furniture Office paper or  junk mail
Clothing PVC Pipe Magazines
Waxed cartons Buckets with metal handles Phone Books or paperback books
Bailing Twine Furnace filters
No plastics of any kind  Cereal, shoe, pantry boxes or any other paperboard
