All items accepted at our depots must be kept separate.

Cardboard, paperboard (cereal boxes, shoe boxes and paper towel cores), fiber egg cartons. Remove all plastic and flatten those boxes, cartons and tubs. Please no waxed cartons (milk cartons, frozen food boxes). Cardboard must be flattened.

Tin Cans (rinse thoroughly), aluminum pie plates, aluminum foil and cans. No need to remove lids or labels, no need to flatten.

Glass bottles & jars, remove food residue, no Corning Ware, Pyrex or sheet glass.

Office paper, junk mail, phone books, paperback books

Magazines, newspapers and all that is included with your newspaper

Plastics such as: beverage, food bottles soaps, shampoo bottles, plastic jugs, clean detergent bottles, pet food containers, syrup bottles, milk jugs. Plastic tubs such as: margarine, yogurt, and whipped topping, cottage cheese and dip containers. Plastic jars such as: Peanut butter & mayonnaise jars. Please clean and rinse thoroughly and remove all lids on plastic. Anit-freeze, oil containers or other plastics that have contained hazardous materials are NOT accepted.

Motor oil – please note that it must be poured into non-breakable gallon containers with tight fitting screw caps. (Plastic gallon bleach or milk jugs work best).

Used Cooking Oil – (Available at our Grants Pass Recycle Depot Only) please note that it must be poured into non-breakable gallon containers with tight fitting screw caps. (Plastic gallon bleach or milk jugs work best).

Non Accepted Items:

No Plastic bags – often people like to put their recycling in plastic bags to help them carry or manage it better. However, the plastic bag are NOT accepted any in of our containers.

No Styrofoam – often people will bring the Styrofoam with their cardboard. This should be taken to the transfer station or put in your household trash.

Other Non-Accepted Items:
