Curbside Recycling
SOS offers curbside recycling for residential customers residing within the urban growth boundary of Grants Pass. Items appropriate for recycling include magazines, newspapers, plastic bottles such as beverage, food, soaps and shampoo containers, plastic jugs, such as detergent, pet food, syrup and milk jugs. We also recycle plastic tubs such as margarine, yogurt, and whipped topping, cottage cheese and dip containers, along with phone books, paperback books, tin cans, aluminum pie plates and foil, cardboard, shoe boxes, and motor oil in one gallon containers.
We do not take glass curbside in the City of Grants Pass. However, glass and other items can be brought to the Southern Oregon Sanitation Recycle Depot at 1381 Redwood Avenue in Grants Pass.
